Readjusting Post-Ramadhan

Hello Mindful Souls! Starting off post Ramadhan on a Tuesday give me some sort of a mixed feeling šŸ˜… But after I sit on it this morning, it actually turned to be a nice gentle reminder that starting doesn't need to be on the 1st, the Monday, January, and so forth. It gives comfort in knowing that we can just simply start NOW.


For me, coming out of a month full of fasting-- meaning, completely changing the way I'm sleeping, eating, drinking, stress and emotion managing takes a little more of mindfulness and consciousness! As a women, the cycle goes like this: having about 3 weeks of fasting followed by about a week of ā€œnormalā€ living during menstrual phase, then after Ramadhan, coming back to a week of fasting again before living with the "normal" clock again for the year.


Those shifts alone is a journey. Our bodies go through so much—adapting, responding, holding space for spiritual intention while still needing rest, nourishment, and emotional regulation. It’s not just a physical transition, but an energetic one too. So today, I’m reminding myself (and maybe you too) that recalibrating takes time.
